Foreign casinos online: 13 casinos checked before they reach the board
Foreign casinos · registers read on 18 and 19.09.2026
A foreign casino can be a solid choice or a money trap, and the front page rarely gives away which. We look every casino up in the licence register and read its rules on withdrawals before it gets a place on the board. What we could confirm shows green. What we could not stays unlit, and we say why.
18+ · wagering ×35 · crypto casino · full terms at the casino
Rakebit is the only one of the 13 casinos with five green lamps. Wild Fortune's licence expires on 29.09.2026: look it up in the register before you deposit.
When Danes search for foreign casinos, they nearly always get the same thing: a top ten sorted by bonus size, a line about «a licence from Curaçao» and advice to look in the footer. That is not a check. Anyone can put a logo in a footer. Nobody can put a certificate into the official register.
We did it the other way round. Thirteen foreign casinos were looked up in the licence registers, and for each of them we read the rules that decide whether you get your money out: when they ask for documents, how much you can withdraw at most, and whether Denmark is on the list of countries they refuse. Every rule is a lamp on the board. Green means we saw it with our own eyes. Unlit means it does not appear in anything we could read.
The lobby looks much the same at most foreign casinos: roulette, slots and live casino. The difference sits in the register and in the terms, and those are what the board checks.
The board: foreign casinos, row by row
The board below is the whole list. Press a row to reach the casino on Berth 01 — every row goes there, not to the casino named in the row. The score is the sum of the five checks, with no adjustments by hand: one point per check, half a point if the licence expires in under 90 days.
150 % on the first deposit, 20–120,000 USDT, wagering ×35
Two withdrawals received on 28.08 and 02.09.2026, with no documents asked of us
Clause 8.7: documents may be requested before a withdrawal, with 14 days to answer
The one casino on the board where we played for our own money, so about Vave we know more than the terms say. That is why Vave stands first and outside the formula, with a review of its own, where the five checks were run all the same.

Four and a half checks, but the Anjouan licence expires on 29.09.2026: look it up in the register before you deposit. A cap of 15,000 EUR a month (clause 11.8), verification at the casino’s discretion (18.1), and Denmark is not among the 47 excluded countries.
An active Curaçao licence and two rules with figures in them: extra verification on withdrawals above 2,500 EUR (clause 6.6) and no more than 1,000,000 USDT processed per week (6.10). The full country list sits on a page we could not read, so the Denmark check stays unlit.
A Curaçao licence active since 22.07.2024. Clause 4.3 reserves the right to ask for proof of age or identity at any time. No withdrawal cap in the terms, and the country list we could read was cut short.
An active Curaçao licence (OGL/2024/1494/0942), and the terms were read live. That is exactly why the gaps show: no country list, no threshold for verification and no withdrawal cap.
A Curaçao licence active since 23.05.2025 in the name of Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. The terms could not be fetched from our server, so three checks stay unlit until we can read them live.
A Curaçao licence active in the name of MBet Solutions N.V. The site closes its doors to data centres; without terms read live we do not light the last three lamps.
Here we opened a real account and went through registration and the cashier. The Curaçao licence is active; the terms could not be fetched live, and that costs three lamps.

An Anjouan licence valid until 27.10.2026, under 90 days away. The terms say only that players from the Netherlands are not accepted: that is not a full list. No verification clause and no cap.
Every Play at the casino button opens the same casino — the one on Berth 01 — and none of them opens the casino named beside it. The berth number, the lamps and the score are what each row is for.
Every row shows the five checks we made on 18 and 19 September 2026: a green lamp is confirmed, amber is partly, unlit means it does not appear in anything we could read. Vave stands first and carries no score.
Notice how few foreign casinos climb above two. That is not because the rest are bad. It is because most of them do not write their rules down anywhere a reader can reach, or because their terms are closed to visits from servers. For you as a player the result is the same: you do not know what applies until you are standing with a withdrawal that is waiting.
What we mean by a foreign casino
A foreign casino here is an online casino licensed by a country other than Denmark. In practice that is nearly always Curaçao or Anjouan, and in practice it is nearly always a crypto casino: you deposit in bitcoin, USDT or another cryptocurrency, and you are paid out in the same. The site is usually in English, support answers in a chat window, and the terms are long.
Three things work differently from what you may be used to:
The bonuses are bigger and heavier. A foreign casino can offer 150 % or more on the first deposit, but the wagering requirement is typically 35 or 40 times, and a live bonus locks the withdrawal until the requirement is met.
Verification comes later. Many foreign casinos let you open an account with an email address and a password and only ask for documents at a withdrawal, above a certain threshold, or whenever they choose. That is in the terms, if it is written anywhere.
The money travels through crypto. You buy crypto for kroner on an exchange and send it onward. That is an extra stop with fees of its own, and it is where most beginners' mistakes happen.
The long explanation is in what a foreign casino is, with the differences that matter to your money.
Danish licence or foreign: the difference in one table
It is easy to talk about foreign casinos as though they were one thing. They are not, and they are not simply Danish casinos at another address either. The table shows the differences that count once the money is in your hands.

Neither column is free. The Danish casino gives you protection and tax-free winnings in exchange for smaller bonuses and an identity check from the first click. The foreign one gives you bigger bonuses and a fast start in exchange for tax, crypto and a responsibility that rests more heavily on you. If you want the foreign one, go in with your eyes open: check the licence, read the withdrawal rules and know the tax rules before you win.
The five checks behind the score
The score on the board measures one thing: how many of the rules that protect your money you can check in writing before you deposit. It does not say where the entertainment is best, and it does not say where you will win. No score can.
Licence valid in the register. The casino appears in the Curaçao Gaming Authority register (status Active) or in the public Anjouan register (valid, with more than 90 days left).
The register names the domain. The certificate carries the exact domain you are playing on. A licence for another domain does nothing for you.
Verification in writing. A clause in the terms says when or how they ask for documents.
Withdrawal cap in writing. A maximum per day, week or month appears in the terms.
Denmark not on the list of excluded countries. We read the full list, and Denmark is not on it.

A valid licence, the domain on the certificate, verification in writing, a withdrawal cap in writing and Denmark outside the list of excluded countries. One point per check; half a point if the licence expires in under 90 days.
Two lamps is the least a casino can score on the board: all thirteen hold a valid licence, and every certificate names the right domain. The difference lies in the last three checks, and those three are exactly what decides whether a withdrawal slides through or stalls. The method in detail, with sources and what we do not measure, is in how we score.
The best foreign casinos on the board right now
Four foreign casinos climb above two lamps. Here is what stands behind each score.
Rakebit: five out of five
Rakebit is the only casino on the board where all five lamps are lit. The licence is from Anjouan, issued to Nile King Media Ltd under the number ALSI-202602030-FI2, and valid until 17 February 2027. The register names rakebit.com.
The Anjouan register prints an expiry date. Rakebit: Nile King Media Ltd, ALSI-202602030-FI2, valid until 17.02.2027.
The terms are the most concrete we have read in this group. At the first withdrawal Rakebit asks for a selfie and proof of address, so you know that in advance. The cap is 10,000 EUR per 24 hours. And the list of excluded countries holds 13 names; Denmark is not one of them. That does not make Rakebit a safe choice by itself, but it does mean you will not be ambushed by a rule you could not find.
Wild Fortune: four and a half, but look at the date
Wild Fortune has every rule in writing: a cap of 15,000 EUR a month (clause 11.8), verification at the casino's discretion (clause 18.1) and a full list of 47 excluded countries without Denmark. The half point is missing because the Anjouan licence expires on 29 September 2026. Look it up in the register before you deposit. If it has not been renewed, the casino stands without a valid licence, and then everything else is beside the point.
Bitcasino.io: four out of five
Bitcasino.io holds an active Curaçao licence and two rules with figures in them. Withdrawals above 2,500 EUR can trigger extra verification (clause 6.6), and the casino processes at most 1,000,000 USDT per week (clause 6.10). The 2,500 EUR threshold applies to the single withdrawal, not to the total over time. The Denmark lamp is unlit because the full country list sits on a separate page we could not read. That is not a sign that Denmark is on it. It is a sign that we do not know.
Bitsler: three out of five
Bitsler has held an active Curaçao licence since 22 July 2024. Clause 4.3 gives the casino the right to ask for proof of age or identity at any time, which is at least honest. But there is no withdrawal cap in the terms, and the country list we could read was cut short. Three lamps.
The top four side by side
The table gathers what separates the four casinos above two lamps. All four hold a valid licence and a certificate for the right domain; the difference lies in the rules about money.

Which foreign casino suits you?
The score says how much is written down. It does not say which casino suits the way you actually play. Three typical situations:
You play small amounts for the entertainment. The withdrawal cap means little to you; the verification and the cashier mean a lot. Choose a casino where you know when they ask for documents, and make a trial withdrawal. Skip the bonus, or pick a small one: a wagering requirement of 35 times sits badly with small stakes.
You play regularly. Then the loyalty programme matters more than the welcome bonus, and you want a clear rule on verification so it does not arrive as a surprise in the middle of a withdrawal. Set limits on the account on day one, and watch whether you are playing to reach the next tier.
You play for large amounts. Then the cap is the most important number on the board. Rakebit's 10,000 EUR a day and Wild Fortune's 15,000 EUR a month produce very different waiting times for the same win. Check the licence expiry date, have your documents ready, and remember that winnings from casinos outside the EU/EEA are taxable. And withdraw as you go instead of letting the balance grow.
Whatever the situation, the same holds: check the licence, read the three rules and start with a small withdrawal. Those are the steps that separate a good choice from an expensive one.
The casinos on two lamps: what we know and what is missing
Seven foreign casinos sit on 2: BetFury, Cloudbet, Duelbits, Jackbit, Sportsbet.io, Thunderpick and TrustDice. All hold a valid Curaçao licence, and every certificate names the right domain. That is more than many casinos in the advertising can say.
betfury.io: Universe B Games B.V., licence OGL/2024/1494/0942, issued 31.07.2025 and active on 18.09.2026. The domain in the address bar and the domain on the certificate are the same.
At BetFury we could read the terms live, and that is precisely why the gaps show: no country list, no threshold for verification and no cap. At the other six the terms could not be fetched from our server. Some casinos turn away visits from data centres, others show their legal pages only in a full browser. That says nothing bad about them. It only means we have not seen the rules, and then we do not light the lamp.
CoinCasino and Coins.Game sit lowest on 1.5. Both hold an Anjouan licence expiring in under 90 days (14 November and 27 October 2026). Coins.Game says only that players from the Netherlands are not accepted, and that is not a full country list.
Here are the nine, one by one, with what the register shows and what we could not read.
BetFury
betfury.io holds licence OGL/2024/1494/0942 from Curaçao, issued on 31 July 2025 to Universe B Games B.V. and active on 18 September 2026. The terms were read live, but mention neither a country list, nor a threshold for verification, nor a withdrawal cap. The front page advertises a bonus of «up to 590 %». If you play here, make the trial withdrawal first, and ask customer support in writing whether Denmark is excluded.
Cloudbet
cloudbet.com holds licence OGL/2024/328/0599, issued on 23 May 2025 to Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. The certificate is one of the tidiest examples of what a valid certificate looks like: domain, company and status all match. The terms could not be fetched from our server, so the three money rules stand unconfirmed.
Duelbits
duelbits.com holds licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, issued on 1 November 2024 to Liquid Entertainment N.V. The site closes its doors to visits from servers, and the terms could not be read. Two lamps.
Jackbit
jackbit.com holds licence OGL/2024/1800/1049, issued on 14 August 2024 to Ryker B.V. The terms were not read live from our server: verification, cap and Denmark are unconfirmed.
Sportsbet.io
sportsbet.io holds licence OGL/2023/110/0072, issued to MBet Solutions N.V. and active since 22 July 2024. The site turns away visits from data centres, so the terms stand unread. Sportsbet.io is mainly a sportsbook with a casino alongside it; the withdrawal rules cover both.
Thunderpick
thunderpick.com holds licence OGL/2024/677/0722, issued on 4 June 2025 to Paloma Media B.V. Thunderpick is known for esports. The terms could not be read live, so three lamps stay unlit.
TrustDice
trustdice.win holds licence OGL/2024/664/0280, issued on 16 July 2024 to Satoshi Gaming Group N.V. Here we opened an account ourselves and went through the cashier, without reaching a withdrawal. The terms could not be fetched live, and that costs three lamps, even though the cashier behaved as it should.
CoinCasino
coincasino.com holds licence ALSI-142311005-FI2 from Anjouan, issued on 15 November 2023 to Igloo Ventures SRL and valid until 14 November 2026. Under 90 days left means half a point. The terms were not read live.
Coins.Game
coins.game holds licence ALSI-202410033-FI2 from Anjouan, issued on 28 October 2024 to Royal Way Limited and valid until 27 October 2026. The terms say only that players from the Netherlands are not accepted, and there is neither a verification clause nor a cap.
If you hold an account at one of these casinos, the advice is the same: find the three clauses in the terms yourself before you deposit more. And read the warning signs that recur at the casinos which do not pay.
Vave: outside the score
Vave stands first on the board, but without a score, and the reason is that we know more about Vave than about the others: it is the only casino where we have played for our own money. The score measures only what a casino writes down itself, and it would flatten exactly that. So Vave sits outside the formula, with a review of its own.
Vave is also the casino where we played for our own money: one deposit in crypto and two withdrawals, received on 28 August and 2 September 2026, without being asked for documents. Two withdrawals are not a statistic, but they are two more than most reviews can show.
Clause 8.7 allows documents to be requested before a withdrawal, with 14 days to answer; 8.8 allows winnings from 50,000 USDT to leave in instalments over 30 days; 8.11 requires a deposit to be wagered three times before it can be withdrawn.
The licence is from Curaçao, OGL/2024/1676/0905, issued to Latcas B.V. Note one detail: the certificate names vavegame.com, not vave.com. That is worth knowing if you look it up yourself. The terms hold three clauses you should know before the first withdrawal:
Clause 8.7: Vave may ask for documents before a withdrawal, and you have 14 days to answer.
Clause 8.8: winnings of 50,000 USDT or more can be paid out in instalments over 30 days.
Clause 8.11: a deposit has to be wagered three times before it can be withdrawn.
The welcome package gives 150 % on the first deposit, from 20 to 120,000 USDT, with wagering of 35 times. The full walk-through is in the Vave review, and you reach the casino directly through {{offer}}.
What the licence register shows
A foreign casino nearly always writes «licensed and regulated» in its footer. What is interesting is what the register itself says. We looked all thirteen up on 18 September 2026 from a server in the Netherlands and copied the number, the company, the date of issue and the status.

Copied from cert.cga.cw (Curaçao) and the public Anjouan register on 18.09.2026: licence number, company, date of issue and status.
One casino can look exactly like another on the front page. The difference is in the paperwork: the certificate in the register and the terms about withdrawals.
A valid certificate from the Curaçao Gaming Authority carries five facts: domain, company, company number, licence number and status. If the status reads Active, and the domain matches the one in your address bar exactly, the licence is in order. If it names another domain, the licence applies somewhere else.
A valid certificate carries five facts: the domain, the company (here Halcyon Super Holdings B.V.), the company number, licence number OGL/2024/328/0599 and the status Active.
How to do it yourself, with screenshots of both registers, is in check a casino licence. It takes two minutes and it is the first thing you should do with any foreign casino.
Curaçao and Anjouan: what the difference means for you
The two registers look different, and the difference matters. The Curaçao register shows a status (Active or not) but no expiry date. The Anjouan register shows a date, «valid until», and that date can arrive quickly. Four of the thirteen casinos are licensed in Anjouan, and three of those expire within 90 days of 19 September 2026.
Wild Fortuneexpires 29.09.202610 days
Coins.Gameexpires 27.10.202638 days
CoinCasinoexpires 14.11.202656 days
Rakebitexpires 17.02.2027151 days
Days remaining counted from 19.09.2026. Red: under a month. Amber: under 90 days. An expired licence does not stand as valid in the register.
An expired licence does not vanish from a casino's footer by itself. It stays there until somebody removes it. That is why the date in the register is the only thing that counts, and why we take half a point off when under 90 days remain. If you are holding a larger balance at a casino whose licence is about to expire, take it out before the date, not after.
Is it lawful to play at foreign casinos?
That is the question we are asked most often, and the one most casino guides answer too easily. The Danish Gambling Act requires a Danish licence to offer gambling to Danish players. A casino from Curaçao or Anjouan that accepts Danish players does not hold that licence, and seen from Denmark that is an unlawful gambling offer.
The Danish Gambling Authority's sanctions are aimed at the operators: first an order, then blocking through the city court, and finally a report to the police. Media that advertise gambling sites without a Danish licence can also be reported to the police. On the authority's pages about unlawful gambling we found no fines or punishment aimed at players. That is not the same as saying it carries no consequences for you: you play without ROFUS, without Danish supervision and without a Danish complaints route, and your winnings are taxable.
Most warning signs can be seen well in advance: a logo with no register behind it, terms without a word about withdrawals, a demand to deposit more to get your money out.
The blocks have grown in number. The Danish Gambling Authority has had 870 gambling sites blocked since 2012, 334 of them in 2025 and 98 in a single batch in the summer of 2026. Blocking happens in the internet providers' DNS, and mirror sites of already blocked addresses can now be blocked without a new court order. A casino you can open today may be blocked tomorrow. That is a practical reason not to leave a large balance sitting. We do not describe how to get around a block.
On top of that comes Spilpakke 1, a political agreement from October 2025 that became a bill in February 2026. Among other things it bans gambling advertising from ten minutes before to ten minutes after a sporting event, and a Spilpakke 2 aimed at foreign operators is on the way. The full walk-through, with sources, is in is it lawful to play at foreign casinos.
Tax on winnings from foreign casinos
Here is the rule that surprises the most people: winnings from casinos outside the EU and the EEA are taxable. All thirteen casinos on the board are licensed in Curaçao or Anjouan, and both lie outside the EU/EEA. The Danish Tax Agency splits it like this:
The casino's licence
Tax on the winnings
Danish licence
Tax free
EU/EEA country, e.g. Malta
Tax free if the game is approved and supervised by a public authority, and the same game is permitted in Denmark
Outside the EU/EEA, e.g. Curaçao and Anjouan
Taxable personal income
You are taxed on the net win: the win minus the documented stake in the winning game. Following a ruling from the National Tax Tribunal, other documented stakes in the same year can be deducted too, but ordinary losses cannot. The net win goes in box 20, Other personal income, in the annual tax statement, and in field 250 of the preliminary income assessment if you expect winnings this year.
An example: win 20,000 kr. at a casino licensed in Curaçao with a documented stake of 500 kr., and you report 19,500 kr., taxed at your marginal rate. If the win arrives in crypto and the price rises before you sell, the tax rules for cryptocurrency cover that rise. So keep the account history from the casino, the transaction IDs and the exchange's history from day one. The rules, the examples and the sources are in tax on winnings.
From kroner to crypto: how the money gets in
Nearly every foreign casino on the board is a crypto casino. Kroner cannot be sent directly. The route runs through a crypto exchange, and that is the part none of the big Danish casino guides explains.
The money takes a detour: kroner into an exchange, crypto onward to the casino's address. Same coin and same network the whole way.
Open an account on an exchange that takes kroner. Firi takes bank transfers in Danish kroner with no fee from 15 kr., and sign-up happens with MitID. Card and Apple Pay or Google Pay cost 3.9 % from 100 kr. Bitpanda also takes kroner. Kraken does not.
Buy the coin the casino takes. USDT is the most used, because its value follows the dollar. Bitcoin and Litecoin work in many places too.
Copy the address from the casino's cashier. Pick the same coin and the same network in both places. The wrong network is the most common way to lose a deposit.
Send a small amount first. Once it has arrived, send the rest.
MobilePay does not exist as a deposit method at Firi, and we have not seen it in the cashier at any casino on the board. The full walk-through, with fees and networks, is in from kroner to crypto.
Coins and networks in the cashier
The cashier at a foreign crypto casino usually shows a list of coins and, for each coin, one or more networks. The choice of network decides the fee and how long a deposit takes, and it is the choice that goes wrong most often.
USDT is the most used coin for casino play, because its value follows the dollar. It exists on several networks, for instance Tron (TRC-20), Ethereum (ERC-20) and Solana. The fee on Ethereum is usually higher than on Tron and Solana.
Bitcoin is taken almost everywhere. The fee and the wait depend on how busy the network is, and a deposit can need several confirmations before it lands in the account.
Litecoin, Solana and others are often cheaper and faster to send, but not every exchange and casino takes them.
The minimum deposit depends on the coin and the network. An example from Vave's help centre, dated September 2023: 3 USDT on Solana, 5 USDT on TRC-20 and 19.99 USDT on ERC-20. The table is old, so check the minimum in the cashier before you send; a deposit below the minimum can be lost. And always pick the same coin and the same network on the exchange as in the casino's cashier.
The trial withdrawal: the test you can run yourself
No board can replace your own experience of a casino. The cheapest way to get it is a trial withdrawal: a small deposit, a little play and a small withdrawal, before you put larger sums in.
1Deposit a little
The smallest amount the cashier takes, on the cheapest network you have. Turn the bonus off: a live bonus locks the withdrawal until the wagering requirement is met.
2Play a little
Some casinos require the deposit to be wagered before a withdrawal (Vave requires three times in clause 8.11). Read that in the terms, not in the chat.
3Ask for a withdrawal
To the same address and on the same network you deposited from. Write down the date, the time and the transaction ID.
4Watch what happens
If the money arrives, good. If they ask for documents, find the clause in the terms that entitles them to. If it sits on «pending» with no deadline, that is your answer about the casino.
A small deposit and a small withdrawal say more about a casino than any review, including this one.
A small withdrawal first. If it arrives, you know the cashier works for you before you put larger sums in.
What you learn matters more than the amount. If the money arrives, you know the cashier works for you. If they ask for documents, you know which ones. And if the withdrawal sits on «pending» with no deadline, you have your answer about the casino for almost nothing. Caps, verification and what happens with large wins are covered in withdrawals from foreign casinos.
When you win big: a plan before the win
Most people think about the withdrawal only once it is there. That is too late. A large win at a foreign casino runs into three rules at once: the withdrawal cap, the verification and the tax. With a plan in advance it takes time. Without one it can take much longer.
The cap sets the pace. At Rakebit the cap is 10,000 EUR per 24 hours, at Wild Fortune 15,000 EUR a month. A win of 60,000 EUR takes six days at the first and four months at the second. At Vave a win of 50,000 USDT or more can be paid out in instalments over 30 days (clause 8.8). Know the number before you play for large amounts.
Verification comes almost every time. Even casinos that ask nothing on small withdrawals usually ask on large ones. With a passport or driving licence, a recent proof of address and possibly a selfie ready, you save days. Send what the casino asks for through the account or the email address the terms name, not through links in messages you did not ask for.
Tax belongs in the arithmetic. A net win from a casino outside the EU/EEA is personal income. Set an amount aside for tax before you spend the win, and keep the history.
Do not let the balance sit. A casino can change its terms, an Anjouan licence can expire, and a site can be blocked. Withdraw at the pace of the cap, and keep no more in the account than what you are playing with.
How to read the terms in ten minutes
The terms at a foreign casino can run to 30 pages. You do not have to read them all. You have to find four things, and a search in the browser (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) finds them faster than your eyes will.
What you are looking for
Search for
What to note down
The licence
licence, license, Curaçao, Anjouan
Company, licence number, who issued it
The verification
KYC, verification, documents, identity
When, which documents, what deadline
The cap
maximum, withdrawal limit, per day, per month
Amount and period
The country list
restricted, prohibited, countries
Whether Denmark is on it, and whether the list is complete
Note the clause number beside each item. If something goes wrong later, «clause 8.7» is a far stronger argument with customer support than «it said so somewhere». And save a copy of the page on the day you first deposit; terms can change without notice.
The bonus terms often sit on a separate page. Search there for wagering, max bet and contribution: the wagering requirement, the maximum stake and which games count.
Eight mistakes Danish players often make
Trusting the logo. A licence logo in the footer is a picture. The register is the proof.
Taking the bonus automatically. Many cashiers switch the bonus on by default. Then the withdrawal is locked until the wagering requirement is met.
Sending on the wrong network. Same coin, different network, money gone. Check the network in the cashier and on the exchange.
Depositing big the first time. A trial withdrawal costs almost nothing and shows whether the cashier works for you.
Forgetting the tax. Winnings from Curaçao and Anjouan are taxable. Better to know before than after.
Asking the chat about the rules. The chat is friendly and fast, but it is the terms that apply.
Depositing to «release» a withdrawal. That is the clearest sign of a casino that does not pay. Never deposit more to get your own money out.
Letting the balance sit. Licences expire, sites get blocked, terms change. Withdraw as you go.
Bonuses at foreign casinos: look at the wagering requirement
Bonuses are what foreign casinos advertise hardest, and what most often stands in the way of a withdrawal. A bonus of 150 % sounds big, but with wagering of 35 times a bonus of 1,000 kr. has to be turned over for 35,000 kr. before the money is yours. Meanwhile the withdrawal is locked.
The welcome package covers four deposits: 150 % on the first, then 100 %, 50 % and 25 %. While a bonus is live, the withdrawal waits for the wagering requirement.
Three things are worth hunting for in the bonus terms: the wagering requirement, the maximum stake per spin while the bonus is live, and which games count. Bonuses without a deposit are rarely worth the trouble: they carry the harshest requirements and low maximum wins. If you play regularly, a loyalty programme with cashback or rakeback is worth more than the welcome bonus, because it gives something back every session, not only the first. More in bonuses at foreign casinos.
Games at foreign casinos: what you find in the lobby
The lobby at a foreign casino often looks like a Danish one: slots from the big studios, live casino with real dealers and table games such as blackjack and roulette. The difference is what sits alongside.
Slots. Thousands of titles, often more than the Danish sites carry. The return to player (RTP) is in the game's information menu; the same machine can exist in several versions with different RTP, so check the figure in the casino you are playing at.
Live casino. Blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows with real dealers. Live casino often counts only partly, or not at all, towards a wagering requirement.
Crash, dice and plinko. Simple games where you pick the risk yourself, often in the casino's own design. They are fast, and that is exactly why they need a budget: a round lasts a few seconds.
Sports and esports. Many foreign casinos run a sportsbook alongside, and some, such as Thunderpick, are built around esports.
The house edge exists in every game. It is larger in some than others, but it is always there, and it does not change because a casino has five green lamps on the board. Pick games by what you find fun and by how long the budget should last, not by an expectation of winning.
Support, language and terms: what to expect
A foreign casino is built for players from many countries at once. You notice that in three places.
The language. The site is usually in English. Some foreign casinos have a Danish version, but it is often machine-translated, and the terms are almost always in English only. It is the English text that applies. Use a translation to understand it by all means, but read the important clauses in the original: the sections on the account, verification, withdrawals and bonuses.
Support. The chat is typically open around the clock and answers quickly, but rarely in Danish. The chat is good at solving a problem with a deposit that has not appeared. It is bad as a source of rules. If you get an answer that does not match the terms, take a screenshot, but expect the terms to win. If you ask for something important, such as closing the account, ask to have it confirmed by email.
The terms. They are long and they change. A casino can update them without telling you, and it is the new version that applies. That is why the date of our reading stands beside every casino on the board, and why it is a good habit to save a copy of the terms on the day you first deposit. Three sections matter more than the rest: when they ask for documents, how much you can withdraw, and which countries they refuse.
How to choose a foreign casino in seven steps
The board does much of the work, but it covers only thirteen casinos. If you meet a foreign casino that is not on it, you can walk the same road yourself. It takes half an hour, and it is the best-spent half hour before you deposit.
Find the licence in the terms. The company name, the licence number and who issued it. If it is nowhere, stop here.
Look it up in the register. cert.cga.cw for Curaçao, the public Anjouan register for Anjouan. The status has to read Active or valid, and for Anjouan the date has to be some way off.
Compare the domain. The certificate has to name the exact domain you are standing on.
Find the verification rule. When do they ask for documents, and which ones? If it is in writing, you know what to have ready.
Find the withdrawal cap. Per day, week or month. If nothing is written, expect a large win to take time.
Read the country list. If Denmark is on the list of excluded countries, the casino can refuse a withdrawal by pointing at it. If the list is cut short or missing, ask customer support in writing.
Make a trial withdrawal. Small in, small out, no bonus. Only once it has arrived do you put more in.
Get through all seven steps and you have checked more than most reviews do. Fail the first three and the answer is given. If you see something along the way that does not add up, read the warning signs.
When you want to stop: close the account properly
It is easy to open an account at a foreign casino and easy to forget it. A forgotten account with a balance, a card saved in the cashier or a live bonus is an invitation to play again when you had decided not to. Do it properly when you stop:
Withdraw the balance. All of it. The last small amounts too, if the cashier allows.
Ask for closure in writing. Write to customer support that you want the account closed, and ask for confirmation by email. Some casinos distinguish between a break, a self-exclusion and a closure; pick the one you mean.
Remove the access. Delete the bookmark and the app, unsubscribe from newsletters, and delete the casino's address from your wallet.
Keep the history. You may need it for tax, even after the account is closed.
Glossary: words you meet at foreign casinos
Wagering requirement. The number of times a bonus has to be played through before it can be withdrawn. ×35 means 35 times the bonus.
Maximum stake. The largest stake per spin or round while a bonus is live. Go above it and the bonus can be cancelled.
Verification (KYC). The casino's check on your identity: passport or driving licence, proof of address, sometimes a selfie.
Withdrawal cap. The largest amount you can take out per day, week or month.
Network. The blockchain a coin is sent on. The same coin can exist on several networks, and they cannot be mixed.
Stablecoin. A cryptocurrency whose value follows an ordinary currency. USDT follows the dollar.
Wallet. Where your coins sit: an app, a device or your account on an exchange.
Cashback. A percentage of your net loss that the casino pays back.
Rakeback. A share of the house edge on every stake, returned to you whether you win or lose.
Country list. The casino's list of countries it does not accept players from. It sits in the terms.
Certificate. The licensor's confirmation that a company holds a licence for a particular domain.
Play with care
A foreign casino with five green lamps pays you what you win. It does not stop you losing more than you meant to. Set a monthly budget before you play, use a separate crypto wallet for gambling only, and withdraw winnings rather than letting them sit.
Help in Denmark is free. StopSpillet answers on 70 22 28 25 Monday to Thursday 9–21 and Friday 9–17, with a chat in the evening. Center for Ludomani offers free treatment without a referral from a doctor, in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense and Esbjerg or online. And if you need a break, you can enter ROFUS at rofus.nu, from 24 hours to permanent. If you have done that, it is a signal to hold the break all the way, at foreign casinos too.
The budget and the time limit are set before you play. When the hourglass has run out, the session is over.
Budget, limits and help are gathered in play safely.
Who writes this site
The site is written by a small desk that reads licence registers and casino terms. We are not a casino and take no deposits. Every row on the board leads to the casino on Berth 01, not to the other casinos — we say so plainly, so nobody thinks otherwise. None of the thirteen scored casinos could buy itself a lamp: the order comes from the licence register and from the casinos' own terms.
That is also why we show the sources: the register numbers, the clauses in the terms and the date of every lookup. You can check the whole lot yourself, and that is the point.
Updates
19.09.2026: The board published with 13 casinos. Licence registers read 18.09.2026, terms read 18 and 19.09.2026. Pages on law and tax added with sources from the Danish Gambling Authority and the Danish Tax Agency.
Next check: Wild Fortune's Anjouan licence after 29.09.2026, Coins.Game after 27.10.2026 and CoinCasino after 14.11.2026.
How to read the board
The board changes when the registers change. A licence that expires, a casino that finally lets us read its terms, or a new withdrawal rule moves a lamp. The date of each lookup stands on the page, and that is what applies: if the register or the casino has changed something since, their information is what counts.
Strictly 18+. Only play for money you can afford to lose.
Frequently asked questions
Which foreign casinos are best in 2026?
On our five checks, Rakebit is the only casino with five green lamps (5 out of 5). After it come Wild Fortune (4.5, though the Anjouan licence expires on 29.09.2026), Bitcasino.io (4) and Bitsler (3). Seven casinos sit on 2. Vave stands on its own and without a score: that is where we played for our own money and received two withdrawals.
What is a foreign casino?
An online casino licensed by a country other than Denmark, usually Curaçao or Anjouan. That means different rules for bonuses, verification and withdrawals than on the Danish sites, so you have to read the terms yourself before you deposit.
How do I check whether a foreign casino holds a valid licence?
Look the domain up in the register the casino itself points to: cert.cga.cw for Curaçao and the public licence register for Anjouan. The certificate has to name the exact domain you are playing on and read Active or valid. If it names another domain or an expired date, walk away.
Can I deposit in Danish kroner?
Most foreign crypto casinos do not take kroner directly. The usual route is to buy crypto for kroner on an exchange such as Firi or Bitpanda and send it to the casino's address. Firi takes bank transfers in kroner with no fee from 15 kr.; cards cost 3.9 %.
How fast do foreign casinos pay out?
We promise nothing there, because the only withdrawals we have of our own are from Vave. Look instead for two things in the terms: when they ask for documents, and how much you can take out at most. And make a small trial withdrawal before you deposit anything larger.
Is it lawful to play at foreign casinos?
Offering gambling to Danish players without a Danish licence is unlawful, and the Danish Gambling Authority's sanctions – orders, blocking and reports to the police – are aimed at the operators. We found no fines aimed at players on the authority's pages. You do play without ROFUS, without Danish supervision and without a Danish complaints route, and winnings from casinos outside the EU/EEA are taxable.
Do I have to pay tax on winnings from foreign casinos?
Yes, if the casino is licensed outside the EU/EEA, for instance in Curaçao or Anjouan. The net win, the win minus the documented stake, is personal income and goes in box 20 of the annual tax statement. Winnings from casinos with a Danish licence are tax free, and winnings from the EU/EEA can be, on conditions.
Why can I not open a foreign casino?
The Danish Gambling Authority has unlawful gambling sites blocked at the Danish internet providers after a court order; 870 sites have been blocked since 2012. If you see a message saying the site is blocked by the Danish Gambling Authority, that is the block.
What is the difference between a Danish and a foreign casino?
The Danish one is supervised by the Danish Gambling Authority, uses MitID at sign-up, is wired into ROFUS and pays tax-free winnings. The foreign one usually signs you up with an email address, pays in crypto, offers bigger bonuses with heavier requirements, produces taxable winnings and has no Danish complaints route.
What does wagering ×35 mean?
That the bonus has to be played through 35 times before it can be withdrawn. A bonus of 1,000 kr. calls for 35,000 kr. in stakes. If the requirement is counted on bonus plus deposit, the figure doubles.
How much can I withdraw at a time?
It is in the terms, if it is written anywhere. Rakebit allows 10,000 EUR per 24 hours, Wild Fortune 15,000 EUR a month, and Vave can split winnings from 50,000 USDT into instalments over 30 days. Many casinos write no cap at all.
Will a foreign casino ask me for documents?
Often not at sign-up, but almost always at some point: at the first withdrawal, above a threshold, or when the casino decides. The best casinos say when in their terms. Keep a passport or driving licence and a recent proof of address ready.
How do I close my account at a foreign casino?
Withdraw the whole balance, write to customer support that you want the account closed, and ask for confirmation by email. Then delete the bookmark, the app and the casino's address from your wallet, and keep the history for the tax office.
Where do I get help if gambling takes over?
StopSpillet answers on 70 22 28 25 Monday to Thursday 9–21 and Friday 9–17, with a chat in the evening. Center for Ludomani offers free treatment without a referral. You can also enter ROFUS at rofus.nu and take a break from 24 hours to permanent.
